At De Archipel we have students with lots of different backgrounds. Many different cultures, religions and socio-economic backgrounds are represented in our student population. The school strives to keep this balance, as we reflect both society and the neighbourhood.
Diversity requires a strong vision and a targeted approach, especially when it comes to education and the pedagogical climate. The school must be a safe and pleasant place, where everyone respects each other. To achieve this, we use a methodology for social and emotional learning: PAD (alternative thinking strategies programme). We have also agreed on a set of basic values and drawn up school rules with the team. Parents who choose our school are committed to these values and rules.
